The brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon have raised thousands of dollars for an organization known as the Children's Miracle Network, and dedicated hundreds of hours to volunteer work. Every year the Indiana Epsilon chapter hosts several philanthropies, of which 100% of the money received is donated to the Children's Miracle Network. Our members believe in bettering the society in which we live, through dedicating our time and effort. Whether that be rasing money for those who cannot help themselves, or just picking up trash in the neighborhood.

The Children's Miracle Network

The Children's Miracle Network is a not-for profit organization that helps improve and save the lives of children by funding hospitals throughout the country. There are currently 170 Children's Miracle Network hospitals in North America; that help over 17 million children a year.

The Run for the Kids is our newest philanthropy, two years in the running. It is scheduled to take place at the end of September or beginning of October. It will once again be open to the entire Evansville community. The main event is a 5 kilometer run, and there will also be a "kids dash" for the younger competitors to get involved in giving to those in need.

University of Evansville Gives Back

During the spring and fall semesters of each year, we take part in the University's community service project. The last two fall semesters we have helped by cleaning the Angel Mounds State Historic Site after they host their yearly Halloween Party for the elementary schools in the area. Last spring we were paired with the Keep Evansville Beautiful organization to clean up the alleyways of Evansville’s west side.
